Homebuyer Education Courses
A key to homeownership
United Housing’s homebuyer education program is an 8-hour course and attendees will receive their certificates upon completion of the full course. From credit management and qualifying for a mortgage loan to working with a realtor and basic home maintenance, attendees leave with the knowledge and resources to begin pursuing their homeownership goals. All classes are currently being held on Zoom.
Registration for class closes 24 hours prior to the class date.
No applications can be accepted the day of class.
Please allow 24-48 hours for a response due to the high volume of registrants.

La clave para ser propietario de una vivienda
El programa de educación para compradores de vivienda de United Housing es un curso de 8 horas y los asistentes recibirán sus certificados al completar el curso completo. eHome America Course
United Housing’s online homebuyer education program, eHome America, provides homeownership education for customers and individual counseling sessions. The eHome course allows you to take it at your own pace and includes a one-hour evaluation session with a HUD-certified counselor.
$99 course fee.
Online, no live instructor.
eHome participants will receive certificate after evaluation session with a counselor.
eHome is USDA and THDA certified.
Financial Coaching Services
Beyond homebuyer education courses, United Housing offers counseling for homeownership and affordable housing-related topics. Counseling is available to walk you through a variety of topics including rental counseling, foreclosure prevention, crisis budgeting and home buying. Variety of topics including pre-purchase, home buying, rental, foreclosure prevention, crisis budgeting and home-owner financial coaching services
Housing Stability Program
If you are behind on mortgage payments and unsure what options you have, United Housing offers foreclosure and rental counseling and assistance to help you navigate keeping your home. You will learn more about who owns your loan, how to work with your servicer to determine repayment options, about foreclosure scams and how to avoid them and more.
Our foreclosure prevention program includes counseling sessions with HUD-certified counselors who will walk with you hand-in-hand to help overcome foreclosure challenges.

Get budgeting, refinancing, and other financial coaching tips to maintain your home after purchase.
