Welcome to Maker’s Grove, Memphis’ first neighborhood featuring homes built using robotic construction. Nestled in the heart of Raleigh, this 26-home community will include a range of housing styles designed to meet the diverse needs of Memphis’ first-time homebuyers. It offers a modern living experience that maintains the traditional feel of a Memphis neighborhood – with tree-lined streets and access to Raleigh’s gems, including the Raleigh Public Library, the Raleigh Community Center and several public parks. It’s set apart not only by its innovative construction model but also by its clear mission to build exceptional, modern homes at a price Memphians can afford.

By Memphians, for Memphians

Maker’s Grove is developed by United Housing, Inc., a Memphis nonprofit with more than 30 years of experience helping residents of the 901 become first-time homebuyers. Its peer organization, Convegence Memphis, is helping with the professional and funding partnerships.

Neighborhood Partners

Thank you to the generous partners, contributors and funders who have invested in Maker’s Grove and the vision for innovative, affordable housing in Memphis.

Invest in innovative homes that Memphis families can afford.

Maker’s Grove is the first neighborhood of its kind in the country. The families who will eventually call it home will benefit from the longevity and stability that come with homeownership and modern building practices.

We know that the cost of developing these homes will probably exceed the homebuying budget of median Memphians. That’s where you could come in. We’re looking for business and private partners to support the project and creative loan products that will make homeownership in Maker’s Grove a reality for more than 25 Mid-South families.
