Lately, many of us feel inundated with bad news   about our national economy.  As gas and groceries continue to rise, reports on our nation’s mortgage crisis rise also.

Well here is some good news!  United Housing is working to keep homeownership affordable for middle- to low-income residents across the Mid-South.  Our programs continue to offer education and access to residents trying to get their piece of the American dream.

As you can see from the good news in our cover story, one of the most important ways we are combating these crippling issues is by exploring new and innovative ways to reach and re-define our target market.  We are adapting our services to meet the needs of more underserved populations in our communities.  We are constantly investigating new products that will make our offerings more varied so that we can package the best deal for each individual client’s needs.  Additionally, United Housing is participating in a number of foreclosure prevention initiatives.

We will be dilligent in our pursuit to maintain a high quality standard in our current programs, while expanding to meet the changing market.  We look forward to seeing many of these innovative and entrepreneurial strategies put to good use in our local neighborhoods!
