UHI's First Mortgage Loan program provides funds needed to purchase a property or pay off existing mortgage loans and for renovations and repairs necessary to make the home safe and secure.

• Up to $300,700 available to Shelby County residents
• Structural repairs must be over $5,000
• Limited funds for cosmetic work
• Income and underwriting guidelines apply

The Hope Plus second mortgage program offers down payment and closing cost assistance financing up to $5000 tohomebuyers and homeowners. It is designed to help our customers obtain home financing that will be both affordable and sustainable for the future. The program is not limited to first time home buyers. It can also be used to assist home buyers and customers that want to refinance out of an existing adjustable rate mortgage. Hope Plus loans are less restrictive than other down payment assistance programs. We can help families earning up to 120% of area median income.
